In 2022, it is celebrated 140 years since Luiz Gama died - TV Brasil

In this week’s show, we will talk about the trajectory of an emblematic name of the black movement in Brazil: Luiz Gama. Sold as an enslaved man by his own father, Gama studies Law by himself and fought to end slavery in Brazil.

Also on Whats’s Happening in Brazil: Although the number of people infected by Covid-19 has decreased compared to previous years, the disease is still circulating among the Brazilian population. Another virus that has been worrying people in the country is the monkeypox.
